Sexually Transmitted
Infection (STI)
Complete Panel · ₹12,000
🔒 70% of sexually transmitted infections cause no symptoms. The only way to know your status is to test. Our laboratory detects all 9 pathogens from a single blood or urine sample — with near-perfect accuracy, at home, in complete confidence.
The most comprehensive sexual health screen available in Hyderabad. 9 pathogens tested simultaneously: Chlamydia (CT), HSV-1 & HSV-2, Mycoplasma genitalium (MG), Mycoplasma hominis (MH), Gonorrhoea (NG), Trichomonas (TV), Ureaplasma parvum (UP) and Ureaplasma urealyticum (UU). Results go only to your personal WhatsApp. No record anywhere else.
Why Our Laboratory Testing Is the Most Accurate Method for Sexually Transmitted Infections
Not all sexually transmitted infection tests are equal. Advanced molecular laboratory testing is recommended by the WHO, CDC and all major sexual health guidelines. Here is why the method matters for your results.
All 9 Sexually Transmitted Infections — Complete Breakdown
Each pathogen covers a distinct clinical category — bacterial, viral, parasitic and commensal. Every infection is reported as Detected or Not Detected. Badges marked ✦ Confirmed indicate advanced laboratory-confirmed testing.
The most common bacterial sexually transmitted infection globally and the leading preventable cause of infertility in women. Approximately 70–80% of women and 50% of men with Chlamydia have no symptoms — making laboratory testing the only reliable way to know your status. Untreated Chlamydia causes pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), fallopian tube scarring, ectopic pregnancy and permanent infertility.
When symptomatic: Abnormal discharge, burning urination, pelvic pain, testicular pain. Usually completely asymptomatic.
HSV-1 traditionally causes oral herpes (cold sores) but is increasingly responsible for genital herpes through oral-genital contact. It establishes lifelong latency in nerve ganglia and causes periodic reactivation. Laboratory testing identifies active infection with far greater accuracy than a physical examination, which misses a large proportion of cases.
When symptomatic: Cold sores, genital blisters, flu-like symptoms at primary infection. Often asymptomatic between outbreaks.
The primary cause of genital herpes — a lifelong viral infection affecting approximately 400 million people worldwide. Approximately 80% of HSV-2 carriers are unaware of their infection because shedding occurs silently even without visible lesions. Distinguishing HSV-1 from HSV-2 is clinically important because recurrence rates, transmission risk and prognosis differ significantly between the two types.
When symptomatic: Painful genital sores, blisters, ulcers. Recurrent episodes. Neonatal herpes risk during delivery.
One of the most significant emerging sexually transmitted infection pathogens globally. Causes urethritis, cervicitis, pelvic inflammatory disease and is associated with preterm birth and infertility. MG is developing significant resistance to first-line antibiotics — making accurate detection critical because treatment must be guided specifically. Virtually undetectable by standard culture; advanced laboratory testing is the only practical detection method.
When symptomatic: Urethral discharge, dysuria in men. Vaginal discharge, pelvic pain, cervicitis in women. Often completely asymptomatic.
Found in the urogenital tract and can cause opportunistic infection — particularly in immunocompromised individuals, following gynaecological procedures, or in the context of pelvic inflammatory disease. Resistant to penicillin and erythromycin, making accurate identification essential for appropriate antibiotic selection.
When symptomatic: Associated with bacterial vaginosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, post-partum fever, urinary tract infections in women.
The second most common bacterial sexually transmitted infection globally, with multi-drug resistant strains increasingly common in India. Causes urethritis, cervicitis, PID and infertility. Critically, gonorrhoea significantly increases HIV transmission risk by up to 5-fold. Advanced laboratory testing is the recommended diagnostic method by all international sexual health guidelines.
When symptomatic: Purulent urethral discharge, dysuria in men. Vaginal discharge, pelvic pain in women. 50% of women are asymptomatic.
The most common curable non-viral sexually transmitted infection globally, affecting approximately 156 million people each year. A protozoan parasite that increases susceptibility to HIV, is associated with preterm birth and low birth weight, and causes significant urogenital inflammation. Advanced testing is up to 3.5× more sensitive than traditional microscopy for detecting this infection.
When symptomatic: Frothy yellow-green vaginal discharge with foul odour, vulval itching, dysuria in women. Often mild or asymptomatic in men.
A very small bacterium in the urogenital tract that can behave as a commensal or an opportunistic pathogen. At elevated counts it is associated with infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, preterm birth, non-gonococcal urethritis and urinary tract infections. Differentiating Ureaplasma parvum from Ureaplasma urealyticum is clinically important as the two species have different pathogenic potential and antibiotic susceptibility.
When symptomatic: Associated with urethritis, preterm labour, chorioamnionitis, recurrent miscarriage, male infertility.
The more pathogenic of the two Ureaplasma species. At high bacterial loads causes non-gonococcal urethritis, bacterial vaginosis, epididymitis, prostatitis and has been associated with decreased sperm motility and male infertility. Responsible for a proportion of unexplained infertility cases in couples where standard fertility tests appear normal.
When symptomatic: Urethritis, prostatitis, epididymitis in men. Bacterial vaginosis, pelvic infection, pregnancy complications in women.

Why NABL Accreditation Is Critical for Sexually Transmitted Infection Testing
Laboratory-based sexually transmitted infection testing requires highly controlled conditions. A false negative from a non-NABL lab can have serious health consequences. A false positive causes unnecessary anxiety. Only NABL-certified results are clinically safe to act upon.
